Welcome to Theo's 3 act structure plot outliner! I made this to get a single document that can sum up the plot of my story CORE: Afterlife, but didn't want to build it from scratch. I love interactive website tools, so this was the perfect little thing to make! You'll be able to download a zip with a complete compilation of the info you've given here for a nice, succinct way to keep your ideas!

Act 1

The Status Quo How do things begin?

The Complication What kicks off the story?

Crossing The Threshold Describe your characters' progression into the adventure, the point of no return.

Act 2

The Clash What obstacles present themselves, and how do the characters they respond to it?

Internal Conflict What individual or group internal conflicts might your characters find?

Overcoming The Odds Describe how the characters overcome (or dont!) their struggles in order to continue the story.

Act 3

Final March The final path onward to the climax of the story.

The Climax The Peak of the story, or the "point" of the story you're telling.

The Aftermath The return home, or to the new status quo after the adventure.
